The programmme Endangered Landscapes Programme (ELP), launches episode 4 of the ELP #ClimateChange mini-series on adapting southern Portugal's management to protect key species and communities under threat from climate change.
Eduardo Santos, coordinator of LPN's Lynx program and coordinator of the project "Ecological restoration of the Mediterranean Landscape on the Left Bank of the Guadiana", talks in an interview about the goals and work developed under this project, of which LPN is the promoter.
This project aims to plan the restoration of the Mediterranean landscape, making it more natural, multifunctional, and resilient, while identifying ways to improve the local quality of life based on self-sustaining natural resources and promoting nature tourism.
