LPN presents its DISCORDANCE with the Draft Concession for the Exploration of Lithium and Associated Mineral Deposits "Romano".

As mining is known to have an environmental (and social) impact undeniably greater than that of prospecting and exploration, LPN recommends that the lithium exploration concessions awarded in the past, which includes the "Romano" mine, be re-evaluated against their Environmental Impact Studies, the legislation currently in force and the conclusions of the Preliminary Environmental Assessment of the Lithium Prospecting and Exploration Program. Only with a strategic and integrated vision can society and the Government jointly decide where and how mining should occur in Portugal.
