The Priority Action Framework (PAF) is understood as a planning tool that identifies the funding priorities of Natura 2000, providing an integrated vision on how to achieve these priorities with the available financing tools.

PAF also results from the need to ensure consistency in funding Natura 2000 in the different programs and funds, considering the priorities identified in PAF, namely, the Cohesion policy and the policies for Regional Development, Rural Development, Fishing and Sea.

The present document is the contribution of C6 coalition to the Public Consultation of the Priority Action Framework (PAF) for Natura 2000 in mainland Portugal and adjacent maritime area.
